What is the ADC?

A consortium chartered by the Department of the Air Force.

The Advanced Data Consortium (ADC) is a government-sponsored Other Transaction Authority (OTA) program, established at the request of the Department of the Air Force (DAF) and managed by B/CORE on its behalf. It connects innovative companies directly to active DAF mission requirements — bypassing traditional FAR procurement entirely.

Members respond to Invitations for Prototype Opportunities (IPOs): real, funded requirements, not speculative bids into a void. OTA authority enables faster awards and direct Air Force engagement, with no FAR overhead.

The ADC acts on behalf of its members through an ADC Consortium Manager (CM), who handles contracting coordination, submissions, and compliance so members can focus on delivery.
